 Reading, writing and soroban have widely been learned over three hundred years in Japan. Those elements must not be left behind as the very basic of learning in Japan as well as a traditional culture and education. The Association aims to inherit and disseminate the traditional education and culture, reading, writing and soroban which have rapidly declined in recent years.

About the General Incorporated Association to Promote Traditional Education in the Region   
The General Incorporated Association to Promote Traditional Education in the Region was established to inherit and disseminate Japanese traditional method of education and culture, reading, writing and soroban.
Activities
We provide seminars, training courses and symposiums to improve instructors’ teaching skills. We also offer courses to certify that instructors are qualified to teach using the traditional education method such as soroban.

We deliver classes of reading, writing and soroban to elementary school students in the area.
